Early information releases imply this movie will be set to occur on a battleship at sea. In the box office, the movie made over 3.6 billion yen, making it the highest grossing movie in the Detective Conan series.  Agasa improves Conan's wristwatch with a USB flash drive and a phone-like communicator.
